Technical Overview
The FilePrint solution is a complete print package, that gives developers instant access to:
- Print Network
- Document Upload
- Templates
- Pricing Structure
- Product Definitions
- Distribution and Mailing solutions
Generally, a developer only needs to register a document and everything else is taken care of. The developer does not need to engage with how the document is configured for press and where it is to be printed - the vast complexity of the process is already in place.
The developer can make use of the interface at several levels:
- Web front end: The developer simply links to the appropriate sites
- Web Services: The developer uses the web services to drive the process, such as direct mail submission.
- Combination: The developer uses web services to manipulate and manage documents and process, but then allows the user to interface via the web front end.
