How do you increase your Ebay Sales

Let's say that you now have a thriving ebay print business, what it the next step?  That's easy - go global.

There is very little difference selling on ebay in UK or in the US; or for that matter anywhere we have a printer available..

How to sell Globally

Going Global sounds very impressive and a little scary, but its actually pretty easy to do. The key points to this are:

  • You list using the same account - so you don't have to repeat all that hard working getting to be a Power seller or a Top seller - you can step straight in.
  • You are not listing as an international seller, you will list as if you are in the country - which you are - because your print will be printed and shipped locally.
  • As you are 'local' - there will be no huge shipping fees.
  • If you use a tool like Auctiva.com for your listing, you can set up new listing templates, but select a different country.

There are a few things you should consider:

  • Language differences.  You probably want to stick to a language you are fluent in, but, even English has its differences - you say 'color' and I say 'colour'.
  • Cultural differences.  Be aware that some of your products might need to be altered: 'Thanks Giving' products are great in the US, not so in UK.
  • Units.  Products are listed in inches and ounces in US, but cm and grams in UK, one will by a letter sized print, the other A4.
